BREAKING SILENCE

She had her whole life

But along came precious time.

Feigning fondness, fooling friend

They were none of her business.

To be heard was all she ever wanted

Overwhelmed by her unrelenting silence.

She was lost in a lifetime

With treacherous time standing aside .

Losing herself made her sad

The birth of me was her joy.

Silence that she broke in me

Only to battle judgemental eyes.

So I decide, losing again

That is not an option.

For there are billions of ears

Waiting to hear.

The stories she could never tell

While fighting her silence.
